Course Description
Learn fundamental concepts in biology, including prokaryotes; protists; fungi and plant development, form and function; population genetics; ecology; conservation; the origin of life; evolution; and classification. Designed for biology majors and premedical and prehealth students, this course is also appropriate for returning students interested in a refresher biology class and professionals in other disciplines considering a career change to the biological sciences. Develop laboratory skills such as instrumentation, data analysis and observation. This course is associated with General Biology II INTEGBI X15B. Lecture and laboratory courses do not need to be taken concurrently.
